Founded by Italian immigrant Alessandro Berluti, the house has maintained its position as one of Paris's most prestigious bootmakers. Four generations of the Berluti family have preserved the traditional techniques while innovating in leather treatment.

Berluti's signature lies in its exclusive leather patination process, creating unique color gradations that make each pair of shoes one-of-a-kind. Master craftsmen spend hours hand-patinating leather using ancestral techniques passed down through generations.
